Professional Experience

Mike is a member in our audit and assurance service group. He joined the firm in 1989 and has twenty-four years of public accounting experience.

Mike manages audit and related services for clients in numerous industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, services, life insurance, dealerships, and nonprofit.  He also performs peer review services under the Peer Review Program of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Professional Affiliations

Mike has served as president of the Central Chapter of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants and on the Board of Governors of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.   He is currently a member of the Peer Review Committee of the Mississippi Society of CPAs.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Community Involvement and Interests

Mike and his wife, Aleen, have two daughters at Mississippi College and a son in junior high school.  He enjoys running, hunting, and attending Ole Miss sporting events with his family.

Mike teaches a Senior Adult Sunday School class at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He has served as chairman of deacons at Colonial Heights and currently serves on its finance committee.  Mike served for several years as a coach and commissioner in the Madison Ridgeland Youth Club and on its Baseball Board.  He is also a board member of the Faith InDeed Foundation in Madison, Mississippi.
