Professional Experience

Lee serves as an audit and assurance member of our firm.  His primary areas of responsibility include providing assurance and business advisory services to closely-held organizations.

Lee possesses specialized knowledge in the areas of oil and gas exploration, production and operations; petroleum refining; manufacturing; wholesale distribution; investments; and employee benefit plans.  He also has experience in the areas of construction, real estate development, and nonprofit organizations.

Professional Affiliation

Lee is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants ("MSCPA"), the Council of Petroleum Accounting Societies ("COPAS"), and the Petroleum Accounting Society of Mississippi ("PASM").  He currently serves as an officer and member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the MSCPA.  He is also a current member of the MSCPA Accounting and Auditing Committee and Long Range Planning Committee.  In addition, he has previously served in the following positions with the MSCPA:

• President - MSCPA Central Chapter
• Board of Governors and Executive Committee member
• Chairman - Accounting and Auditing Committee
• Chairman - Public Service Award Committee
• Building Committee member
• Nominating Committee member

In addition to Lee's work with the MSCPA, he also serves as the current president of the Petroleum Accounting Society of Mississippi, the state's local COPAS affiliate.

Community Involvement

Lee has served as a volunteer, officer and board member of numerous community and civic organizations.  Believing that the local community is most greatly impacted by the local church, Lee and his family are active members of Colonial Heights Baptist Church where he currently serves as a deacon, high school lifegroup teacher, and as a member of the church's Strategic Planning Committee.  He is past chairman of the church's deacons, Finance Committee, Personnel Committee, and Deacon Nominating Committee.
