Professional Experience

Walter is a member in our tax service group, and has been with the firm since 1989.

Walter's experience includes providing tax consulting and compliance services to individuals, as well as privately held companies in the retail, wholesale, professional services, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries. A significant number of these clients have multistate operations, and some have operations outside the United States.

Walter consults with clients on various tax matters including transaction planning, compliance issues, tax incentives, and nexus issues. He also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state taxing authorities on disputed tax issues.

Professional Affiliation

Walter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Council of Petroleum Accounting Societies, and the Petroleum Accounting Society of Mississippi.

He has served as a board member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, and as an officer of the Central Chapter of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.
